• BENEFICIARY STATEMENT
  
  the statement of a lender that shows the remaining principal balance and other information about a loan. It is usually obtained when a property owner wants to sell or refinance. It is also called a bene statement, offset statement, or estoppel certificate, and it is normally requested by escrow or title companies.
