- CROSS CURRENCY SWAP
A Swap (q.v.) that involves payments in two currencies. For example, the fixed payment might be in DEM and the floating payment might be proportional to JPY LIBOR. In addition, the swap involves an exchange at maturity of Notional Amounts (q.v.) in the two currencies at the original exchange rates.Back
