• INVESTMENT TYPE
  
  The program uses a three-character code to designate each investment type. Each type has a label which describes the investments in that type. Under the Investment Type heading, reports will sometimes list the code, such as BCD or LA1, and other times the description, such as Certificates of Deposit-Bank or Managed Pool Accounts. Type is also frequently used as the sorting basis for reports. See Chapter 7 for a complete discussion of investment types.
