• OLD SYSTEM TITLE
  
  Consists of a series of title documents called a 'chain of title'. The overall title is sound only if every document in the chain is sound. The legal investigations required are complicated and expensive. Old systems titles may be converted to Torrens titles and are automatically converted following sale. Also called Common Law Title.
