• USA PATRIOT ACT
  
  An acronym for the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001, ("USA PATRIOT Act"). The USA PATRIOT Act substantially amends the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970 (BSA). The statute contains strong measures to prevent, detect, and prosecute terrorism and international money laundering.
